Ahead of the highly anticipated Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took the opportunity to meet with several key business leaders in Mumbai. These meetings were held in an effort to gather support and generate interest in the summit, which is set to take place in Lucknow from February 10 to 12, 2023.
The summit, which will be organized by the state of Uttar Pradesh, aims to showcase the investment opportunities available in the region and to attract business and investment from both domestic and international investors. Many industry experts and government officials are expected to attend, making it a crucial event for the economic growth and development of Uttar Pradesh.
During his trip to Mumbai, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made it a point to meet with several prominent business leaders in order to discuss potential investment opportunities in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to meeting with Mukesh Ambani, one of India’s wealthiest and most influential businessmen, Yogi Adityanath also held talks with Karan Adani, the CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited and son of billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani.
He also met with Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, the co-founder of the Hiranandani Group, a leading real estate and infrastructure development company. Other notable individuals that Yogi Adityanath met with include Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, a multinational conglomerate; Sajjan Jindal, chairman and managing director of the JSW Group, a leading business group in India; Ajay Piramal, chairman of the Piramal Group, a diversified conglomerate; and Uday Kotak, the founder and executive vice chairman of the Kotak Mahindra Group, a financial services company.

These meetings were held in an effort to further strengthen the economic ties between Uttar Pradesh and these influential business leaders and to explore potential investment opportunities in the state.
During a public meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the impressive economic growth and development of the state of Uttar Pradesh. He noted that there are currently 960,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the state, contributing significantly to its growth and prosperity. Adityanath emphasized that UP is experiencing a period of rapid growth and development unlike any it has seen before, and that the government is committed to supporting and promoting the success of these MSMEs as a key part of its efforts to drive economic growth and development in the state.
