Vaibhav Purandare, a well-known author and journalist, met with Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday in Mumbai. Purandare is the Senior Editor at The Times of India and has written two books – “Shivaji: India’s Great Warrior King,” and “Hitler and India”. He presented a copy of this latest book to Yogi Adityanath.
“Shivaji: India’s Great Warrior King” is a historical account of the life and accomplishments of the Maratha king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who was known for his military prowess and his efforts to establish a Hindu kingdom in 17th century India. “Hitler and India” is a book that examines the relationship between Adolf Hitler and India during World War II.
Adityanath, who was visiting Mumbai on official business, expressed his appreciation for the book and shared with Purandare details about a museum that his government is building in Agra. The museum, which will be named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, will showcase materials and artifacts related to the life and times of the legendary warrior king.
Purandare, who has written extensively on the life and legacy of Shivaji, welcomed the news of the museum and expressed his hope that it will serve as a tribute to the great warrior’s contributions to India’s history.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that the museum will serve as an important educational resource for the people of Uttar Pradesh and the rest of the country, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of the rich cultural and historical heritage of the region.
