After 30 years, Srinagar gets the first multiplex in the Kashmir Valley.

Yes, you read that right, Kashmir Valley did not had any  multiplexes, even in 2022.

But now A three-decade wait for movies in the Kashmir Valley came to an end on Tuesday with the opening of a multiplex in Srinagar.

Inaugurated by Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. INOX multiplex in Srinagar Valley.

Interestingly, it is owned by a Kashmiri Pandit business family. The community which was persecuted by the extremists.

Not that Srinagar never had cinema halls. But most of them were closed in 1990 due to terrorist threats.

As Kashmir is moving towards normalcy. Development in Jammu and Kashmir is bridging the community divide.
