Raju Srivastav Loses Battle To Survive, Passes Away At 58

Raju Srivastav, a comedian, dies at the age of 58. He had a heart attack and was being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

After being in an unconscious state for several days, he regained consciousness and was recovering.

He had suffered a heart attack more than a month ago on 10 August after reporting severe chest pain. He was taken to AIIMS.

He was put back on ventilator on 1st September after he was having high fever and inflammation in the body.

Raju has had a remarkable career as a comedian and a mimicry artist. He worked in bollywood films as well.

Besides comedy, he had tried his luck in politics from Samajwadi Party. Days before his death he was holding a post in UP Government.

Raju fought a long battle for survival, hinting that he might come out healthy and entertain us once again. But unfortunately he could not.
