Most awaited movie on a social issue, Toilet Ek Prem Katha finally released at the box office on 11th of August. Movie was so much hyped for its unusual & strange name “Toilet”. Indian Prime minister Narendra modi himself praised and appreciated Film Toilet Ek Prem Katha at several occasions on his twitter account. The movie is based on topics which is not very familiar for Bollywood’s self proclaimed movie experts. Film critics like Rajeev Masand, Taran adarsh were confused that will it get a good response from public or not? But Akshay Kumar and Bhoomi duo actually made it to reality.

Film made record with 5th highest collection in first weekend. Film has surpassed the collections of Shahrukh’s Jab Harry Met Sejal in just 4 days and is likely to set more records in coming days.
This Social drama is the fifth successive hit by Akshay Kumar after Rustom, Housefull 3, Airlift, and Jolly LLB 2.
