After hearing in the premises of Rohtak Jail, Court finally announced the much awaited “Ram Rahim Judgement” on Dera Sacha Sauda chief, A week long discussion on Rapist Baba ram rahim finally came to a conclusion. The discussion was scheduled to complete till 3:00 PM but lasted longer than its scheduled time.
According to the Indian Law Code of Criminal Procedure, the culprit of rape gets punishment up to 7 years.
but if the CBI’s arguments are believed, then Baba has not just committed one rape, there were already two sadhvi’s who reported the matter, however 209 girls were appointed in taking care of Dera cheif Ram rahim, the CBI also argued that by giving severe punishment to Baba, those people who exploit girls using their influence will receive a harsh message, Baba has betrayed the trust of his disciples, these followers of dera used to call him their father.
In The judgement Baba has been sentenced for 20 years of imprisonment on behalf of the court, in these 20 years, Baba would not be given Bail till 1/3 duration of sentence.
Honorable court slapped a fine of 65,000 Indian Ruppes on the chief of Dera saccha sauda. All the dera ashrams will be seized by the Haryana government.
